The food is great but, the drain is clogged. A sight for sore eyes.

Must try the laksa, and the big karipap with so many varieties. The cold cendol, ice kacang, rojak buah, coconut drink, sugar cane (with lemon)...

Place is dirty, hot and impossible to park. Perfect place for cold dessert then. Only tried the two competing cendols. I didn't like the blue stall although their beans was very nice. The Malacca syrup had a additional fragrance mixed in and the cendol strands itself was only so so. The stall on the back however has cendol that rivals the famous ones on pg island. It's slightly translucent and springy, a well prepared cendol. The Malacca syrup is standard and the beans leave much to be desired. Fortunately, I'm no big fan of beans.

Good place to test a few Penang and local Butterworth cheap foods here in Chai Leng Park for after lunch hour food hunt. From claypot laksa, cucuk udang with fish balls, fish cake and fried tauhu. To mee goreng, curry puffs various fillings, rojak, Penang chendol, coconut & sugar cane juice, packed nasi lemak. Can get pretty hot & sweaty under the zinc roofs on sunny days. Usually have a good enjoyable meal and leave once finished unless it is a cloudy or rainy day. Hygiene is not up to certain standard as it is pure hawker style in an old surrounding.

This is one of the very few last frontier of places of muhibbah spirit. You can see Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races coming to this place eating together. The hawkers and workers are also made up of the major races. Pretty good food but is no longer cheap as the great old days. Don't let those useless authorities spoil this place.

This small Food Court is shared by Malay and Chinese Food Stalls. The Malay Stalls have Cucur Udang, Claypot Laksa, varieties of Big Size Karipap, Mee Goreng, Pasembur and some other food from the same stall. Each stall sell multiple food except the Karipap Stall. Whereas the Chinese Stalls have Fruits Stall, Sugar Cane drink, Coconuts drink, Rojak, cut fruits, Chendol, Ice Kacang and Char Koay Teow. The notable food and drink here for us was the Cucur Udang with many condiments, Sugar Cane Drink, Char Koay Teow and the Claypot Laksa. A seldom seen place where all races come to meet and share some good food. Two major or great drawback here, it is very humid and because of it's small size place, it is usually packed with lunch patrons. This place is NOT well lighted also but your eyes will adjust after awhile.
