โ โ โ โ โ 1st time here.. with 'sounds' issue around V-belt area of Myvi Lagi Best 2013 & aging almost 7 y.o. Recently replaced new V-belt & waterpump.
Heard very positive feedbacks on Lowyat.net forum & decided to come here. Was a bit sceptical at first but hoping to solve the noise issue.
Was da very 1st customer today.. they were friendly & helpful. Inspect.. diagnose.. dismantle & repair the alternator took about 1 hour plus. Surprisingly the annoying sounds never to be heard again..
Total damage: RM120 with priceless satisfaction.
Come early to avoid long waiting time. And be very detail on issues upon diagnosing.
This is the right place for: Car electrical wirings.. alternators.. starters.. aircond.. before your pockets "bocor".

โ โ โ โ โ My alternator start to making noise and I went to this place after checking reviews and so on. Able to detect problem quickly and told me it's likely only bearing issues. However since my car mileage already 100k+, they suggest to replace the pulley as well. I agreed. I ask what will be the cost? They said all in is likely RM200 plus only. Sounds cheap right? Likely?? At the end i was charged RM540. They said dismantling the alternator is difficult so they had to charged a lil bit higher.
The dismantling just took them about 30 mins each, from bottom side. Doesn't look complex to me. Well i can't say much as I'm not a mechanic. If I knew this is the additional handling cost, i'll dismantle at other workshop and only brought the alternator for refurbishment. Lesson learned.
Anyway I am happy with the result. Hope the bearings and pulley last for the next 100,000 km.

โ โ โ โ โ They repaired my alternator with faulty parts and the car idling became very unstable, had to go back and get it done again, the charges were very high, buying a recon alternator is much cheaper, caution โ ๏ธ

โ โ โ โ โ Bring my old Peugeot 405 alternator and starter for repair after being told unrepairable. Very experience uncle repair it with reasonable charge...both fr just 100+. If buy even secondhand/recond chop shop starter alone already 200+. Later bring many more to repair with satisfaction workmanship and cost. Recommended shop...

โ โ โ โ โ I am not a reviewer but I would certainly give them at least four stars for all the good jobs done in my cars over the past years with reasonable pricings. The sifu are very experienced, skillful and diagnosis and very good in repairing while other shops may ask you to replace to earn more. I would give them one more star if they would connect the wires using proper connectors instead of joining and tape with PVC.

โ โ โ โ โ On 15/9/21, engine of my car couldnโt start, and I have asked some of my mechanic friends through showing them a video that I recorded, being told is the problem of alternator, and I even went to the nearest workshops from my house, also being told is alternator issue, they do not have the capability to repair, and advice me to replace instead, original one around 2k with labor cost, recon one around 1k with labor cost. I didnโt go for it and I consulted with my father, and my fatherโs friend recommended me to this workshop. Afterwards, I went to google and saw lots of positive comments on this workshop, and eventually decided to give a try
On the next day morning, towing service provider tow my car to the workshop. Upon arrival, the boss and the other sifu come out for help to handle my car, they find out the root of the causes and fix it within 15 minutes. It was not the alternator issue, the actual problem is the rubber sensor that located behind the oil pedal had been broken, hence the engine couldnโt start as it lost connection with oil pedal(not sure if I explained the problem correctly or not).
This is how they handle my car, extremely fast and effective to resolve the problem of my car, this is called professional.
The boss and others sifu are humble and nice as they will explained very detail of the problem of your car in the easiest way to make you more understand your car condition, Furthermore, the price they charged also very reasonable and affordable, and I even wondering can they make money through the work or not.
Seriously unlike other workshop I have met before, bad attitude in manners,always wanted to chop you only, overprice charges and at the end, you donโt even know what is the actual problem of your car, what did they done for your car
I truly recommend people who has car electrical issues like battery, alternator, starter and etc, can give a try on this workshop
