★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place for dinner. Came to this French Restaurant for dinner and had a fantastic time.
We ordered the Foie Gras and Escargot for starters and the Australian Lamb Chops for mains. All the dishes were fantastic. Love the Foie Gras which is pan seared and comes with a nice thick gravy. I love using a slice of bread to wipe the gravy off the plate.
The escargots were good and comes with a garlic sauce.
The lamb chops that we got were the Australian ones which is a special. The lamb was slightly gamey which is good and the fat was lovely. Love how the fat melts in the mouth.
The desserts are a good to end the meal. I believe we ordered three creme brûlée and a crepe. The crepe was cooked at the cooking station. Will be back!

Must give a try to their pork tomahawk when avaliable, very tender and juicy!!
The ribeye steak is tender inside and slight crispy on the outside, well done!!
They have a great wine selection as well..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may be common in Kuala Lumpur but there are not many independent restaurants of this class in Johor Bahru. Set in a good location in Taman Molek it has the right atmosphere, they serve very good ex pat food, wines & speciality beers, all presented to you with excellent, pleasant service. So I came here two times within a week, the first time I had my mind set on a grain fed beef steak but I was awfully confused when the waitress brought over the specials board which had fresh Barramundi on it, so Barramundi it was on that occasion. It almost happened again on the second visit when the specials board had Shepherd's Pie as well as Lasagne, but I stuck to my guns this time and had the sirloin steak hoping that the specials would reappear at a later date, I'm sure they will or something equally as tasty. The steak was perfect, suffice to say myself and my companions were completely satisfied with their choices both times, you will not be disappointed here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time try this restaurant. I am already a big fan of Chez Papa. Just found out there are the branch! The food is simply amazing. I would say the best French food you can ever get here in the southern region. Nothing beat this. Should try their Foie Gras. Grilled to the perfection with the rich buttery taste.

The servers are well mannered, they make you feel comfortable. They put effort into all the details for serving you well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been a very long while since my last visit to France. So, we decided to dine at this restaurant on a Saturday night. The atmosphere here is comfortable.
I was told that here serve French cuisines, but there are not many French dishes. The oysters were sold out today, what a shame. The onion soup was tasty and bursting with flavor. The pan-fried Iberico pork chop was crispy outside and tender inside. The lamb shanks with the melt in the mouth texture, but not outstanding. Dessert was a cheese platter, nothing to shout about. Although there is nothing reminiscent of our French experiences. Still, we had an excellent time here.
