I'm sure that you've heard of Laksa - Penang Laksa, Sarawak Laksa, Johor Laksa, etc..
But have you heard of LAKSAM Kelantan?
It’s a really unique dish, one that I've so far found only in Kelantan (forgive me, I have limited experience here).
Fish broth that isn't sour, fresh leaves and taugeh, and the noodles are so different! It's an art to actually create those noodles, all placed in metal plates, rolled with skill to form a long floury white roll.
We had our Laksam Kelantan in under a traditional hut, surrounded by cows and lovely fields. It was truly an authentic Kelantanese experience!
Laksam Cikgu is literally run by a 'Cikgu' (Malay Word for teacher). They serve 2 kinds of broth, the Kelantanese version, and also the sour Penang version.
