β β β β β Taste: okay
Unique: okay
Quality: okay
Menu variety: restricted to laksa, soup and few other dishes like nasi ayam
Beverage: all normal drinks, ABC and cendol
Price: reasonable
Place: quite unexpected to find
Staff: some quite moody
Comment: I like the laksa taste a bit like Assam Laksa. Just a little bit. Today, I went here to taste all kind of menu they offer but, they only have laksa. Even laksa goreng not available. I thought they just started but after that, I asked again another staff, they said there's no fried today. Even the ABC and cendol not yet started the time arrived. I recommend you to go a little late.

β β β β β OVER RATED. Slow and not systematic service. Seriously bad hospitality except for that one young staff. Waited for so long for our simple orders, didn't order anything complicated, very straight forward. Yet, they manage to prepare to other customer who came AFTER us. I DO NOT recommend this place. Not worth your money and time.

β β β β β Many other place sell better laksa than this. Barely any taste of daun kesum and bunga kantan. Disappointing, most definitely disappointing the legacy. Worst is my wife and me having diarrhea right after eating. Go somewhere else for laksa. Don't fall into a tourist trap.

β β β β β Kuala Kangsar is very famous for its own wheat noodle called laksa. Among the restaurants that I and my friends stopped by was Laksa Pak Ngah Original. The place is a bit hidden and I guess outside tourists wonβt notice it but we were lucky because one of us was familiar with this place. There is a variety of homemade laksa menus here. Original recipes that are given a new touch with their creativity can attract fans of this meal.

β β β β β As someone who actually didn't like laksa all that much, I groan a bit when my friends suggested we went to this place. However, I am happy to confess that I am wrong and that the laksa itself is quite delicious.
I opted for something's a little different, therefore I went with the Laksa Goreng Basah but with the additional Telur Sarang Burung on top of it. As someone who not a fan of laksa (but a fan of Mee Bandung Muar), I'd say the the broth is more similar to Mee Bandung than usual laksa. It is quite thick and the taste and the condiments complimented the dish well.
If I may say so myself, is that they've done a good job with turning someone who's not a fan of laksa into managing to enjoy the food until the end. Recommended.

β β β β β Didn't know that laksa can be goreng, not only goreng but also can become pattaya?
Laksa here totally different from asam laksa or nyonya laksa, they got their own unique taste, worth trying when you are in Kuala Kangsar.
Staff not friendly, here are famous to add telur sarang burung but staff never mentioned it, menu also didn't show it.
