Good place to have gathering. The staff is very nice.

Lovely place, kampung style house with modern touch, pool and ponds for kayak. You can ride bicycle inside the kampung to look for breakfast in the morning. Near to ulu bendul waterfall as well. Owner is nice and friendly. She able to provide us catering for breakfast and lunch on our last day.

Lovely place to take young kids - small swimming pool, la4ge fish pond with 2 kayaks, some bicycles, a large open kitchen/dining area. Very few mosquitos and no traffic noise!

Very nice homestay with an amazing garden. The rooms are very nice and have mosquito nets. A very cozy and spacious space, perhaps fita well for a garden wedding. I was told the owner is an architect who redesigned the family place. There is a swimming pool and a paddock at the back. Can see squirrels in the garden especially in the morning. The surrounding is very quiet, hence perfect to do creative writing. Will come again next year.

Very nice property in a scenic spot. Interior is very authentic and local with tasteful touches. Place, especially washrooms, can be slightly cleaner but comfortable enough. Pool is small but fun for the kids. Sunsets are beautiful. We had full board (2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 2 dinners). Food was decent, but not quite sufficient. Also quite repetitive as lunch and dinner were the same dishes. My teenage children enjoyed the food but all lost weight during the stay. Future boarders may wish to settle the food part on their own. A small issue we had were with rats in the evenings and there were a few of them. I am not sure if this is common for these homestays but it sure upset the children a bit, especially the young ones. A pleasant stay overall but 1 star off for the issues mentioned above.

It was a much needed retreat with the family. We were 10 adults, 1 teenager, 2 kids and a toddler. Laman Tamara is well equipped and perfect for a kampung getaway especially in times of covid. Word to keep in mind is kampung. Fresh air, roosters, chicken, monkeys, self contained and bugs, LOTS of it!! ???Pretty ? too!! Property consists of vintage wooden kampung home in it's original form, an extended "modern" kitchen/dining area in the back, a comfortable patio facing the pool, hammock, outdoor bbq/dining area and small pond to kayak comfortably. There is also ample space to cycle and play badminton. Bins may be found conveniently in all areas hence no excuse to litter! All rooms are air conditioned with mosquito nets over beds. Word of advise, to keep nets in place at all times as there are bugs aplenty, due to the air vents/louvres to the outside. TV has astro and netflix installed, just need to login with your netflix subscription to view. It rained morning and evening during our stay however the sun was bright and hot in between, creating a good balance of hot and cool. What was good: 1. Everything we needed in a home was provided. 2. En Faiz the caretaker was very accommodating and attended very well to our "emergency" (bed in room adjacent to tv, collapsed), delivered our meals, attended to requests for new bbq grill mesh, replenished kitchen towels and he even helped us take group photos! What can be improved: 1. Perhaps clean/replace shower curtains periodically as it was mouldy and dirty. 2. It would be great to have the toilet cleaned before guests arrive as there was hair from previous guests found in shower area. What to bring: 1. Mosquito/bug repellent especially if you have kids. 2. Nearest shop is in Kuala Pilah town which is about 15mins drive hence do try to bring everything necessary if you dont want to make the drive. Hope it brings joy to you and family/friends, as it did ours! ? Oh, do bring cat food as there was a cat who seemed a resident and another who came to visit ??

Best place to enjoy a great village vibes. Nice place. Nice house.. With good service. Overall i do recommend the place. So nice.
