★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to have a cooking class! My wife and I honestly had so much fun learning how to cook Peruvian dishes. They do many cuisines upon request, but be sure to let them know beforehand. They specialise in Malaysian dishes of course. The instructors were super knowledgeable and friendly too. Would highly recommend if you're a solo traveller looking for some entertainment and good food. Would also recommend couples to go and even big groups! This place can cater up to 70 people. Overall, a 5 star experience. Thank you LaZat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ana and Irene were amaaaaazing! Super friendly and shared lots of knowledge with me and my partner. We have taken 2 online classes with them now because they Ana and her crew have been super helpful, fun, and encouraging. There were things that I could not find in Vancouver and Ana taught me what I could substitute and all the dishes turned out soooooo scrumptious! Definitely recommend taking some cooking classes with Lazat. You'll find great knowledge, laughter, and delicious food after. Thank you very much Ana and Irene for the amazing classes! When covid ends, I'm really looking forward to visiting Lazat for an in-person class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a good introduction to Malaysian culture and cuisine. The market tour was so informative and the cooking class was so worth doing. Ana was an excellent instructor--warm, kind, patient, funny, and a very good cook. I left with a full belly and a full heart and excited to try to cook new dishes for friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a brilliant time at LaZat and would heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the Malaysian approach to cooking. The instructors are very friendly, spoke excellent English, and are clearly masters of their domain. The school itself is incredibly picturesque, fantastically equipped, and very well organised. All in all the course was worth every ringgit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! What an AMAZING hands on experience. We were 33 in a group and Ms Ana & her team had us all ready by our workstations in our bright yellow aprons with "Lazat" emblazoned across it. It was indeed the most meticulous, time consuming, truly an eye opener for the uninitiated (1st time cooks). Ms Ana's signature phrase "Massage your ingredients and filled it up with love" is a testament to the delicious traditional cooked dishes towards the end of the cooking lessons. Even 1st time cooks are AMAZED at their newly found talents (of course, under the guidance and personal touch given by Ms Ana and her team of cooks and helpers. The lessons were systematic and easy to follow. She would often break the monotony by sharing with us stories revolving her cooking experiences, her family and local beliefs and modern day norms that kept everyone engaged and laughing throughout. Very lively for a cooking class but not just any cooking class.. LAZAT COOKING CLASS. Simply AMAZING!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great day at Lazat Cooking Class and got an amazing insight view of the malaysian cuisine with an hands on cooking experience. Ana and Irene are super kind, warmhearted and professional teachers. Every question we had was answered with ease and we even got to choose which dishes we will be cooking. Being vegan or vegetarian was also no problem at all, in fact if you are living a vegan lifestyle, you will love the cooking class because everything is healthy and the ingredients are freshly bought at the local market! All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better cooking class and can highly recommend Lazat.
Thanks again for this outstanding experience Ana & Irene!
