★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice owner.. when I’m in I saw Muslims are sitting inside, really love the harmonisation in small town, that Muslim & non Muslim can sit together in a Chinese restaurant, who serve no pork nor lard..
Besides, the place in opposite of KwangTung Association North Perak, Taiping
Uncle said, deep fried ToFu Pok must try..
And it is real MUST TRY !!!!! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lian Thong needs no introduction to the locals. Being one of the oldest Halal chinese eateries around it certainly has it own's charm. Had their bomb mee and just normal toast. Not bad at all. The kumquat was also good ? As the owners and operators of the shop are all elderly, the service might be slightly slower but it was great nonetheless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ABSOLUTELY berbaloi!! If you want to try authentic Chinese dishes, this is the place. HALAL, and the taste gets better every time i come here. For newcomers, you should try Tau Pu Pok, Bomb Mee (deep fried wantan mee) and Chicken Kerabu Rice ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100% recommended. It’s halal. Overall, i think their bomb mee and Tau Pok are the best! Kerabu Chicken Rice is also not bad. The price is also quite cheap. All workers here are elderly n they are super nice. Would really love to come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A traditional coffee shop that retains its yesteryears flavor. Their ‘Kat-Chai’ drink is nice, you hardly find it anywhere else. So is their butter toast with egg (1+1). Be decisive in placing your order as the old man owner can turn impatient in split second. He can be very unfriendly and will not stand corrected.
