★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous amount of porridge which you can select the type of seafood and fish to cook with. The place isn't air-conditioned and don't expect a nice setting. Unfortunately the type of cooking not up to my preference. Some may prefer such cooking style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely off the beaten path and there's no way we would find a gem like this if it wasn't for our relatives bringing us here from Ipoh! It must be worth it if everybody is willing to drive one hour just to eat a bowl of seafood porridge! This 潮州 style porridge is delicious and comforting. We had ours with fish, shrimp, fish balls and mushrooms. It was an excellent combination. The rest of the accompanying dishes such as deep fried fish, squid and vegetable we're also very well prepared. I can see why this restaurant has such a strong following. COVID-19 protocols and best practices were strictly enforced and adhered to by all making for a safe and delicious dining experience!
