★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cool secluded corner of Penang Botanical Gardens. Beside the lily pond there is a side trail on the right that leads steeply towards Mount Oliver. The left side of the lily pond was also famous for several treasure diggers who perished after the dugout cave gave way. Stories were told that the Japanese soldiers hid their loots there.
