β β β β β The jetty has been serving tourist from Lumut to Pangkor and back.
It is maintained well by the state government. It is clean and many amenities provided.
There are many outlets selling all sorts of items around the jetty.
During holidays it could be very crowded.
The Pangkor island has been declared a duty free zone so many shoppers cross over for shooping every weekend.

β β β β β It was easy to get here from the parking area, where I parked my car for the trip. I bought the return ferry ticket at RM14 and boarded the ferry at 5 pm. The ferry jetty is clean and well-maintained. But the restroom or toilet which is at the entrance of the jetty needs some upgrade. As they are charging 50 cents per use, I am sure they can clean up and modernise the place.
All passengers need to be at the jetty some 20 minutes before take off. And sure enough, the ferry took off right on time and reached Pangkor ferry jetty after half an hour.
It was a nice ferry ride.
