Their roast duck seems to be back to the level of good ol days after the pandemic. Their once in a while char siew was delicious.

Bought half duck for RM17 and RM3 chai boey. My parents said it was dried last time they bought it and we have better option in Sungai Petani. But surprisingly, the duck is tender and juicy today. Yes, will definitely buy again if pass by.

The roasted duck is soft, a bit of lack of texture. Served in duck sauce. The crackling pork is really nice. The skin is roasted to a crisp. When one takes a bit, you can feel the crunch and its flavour burst out. The other dish is the mustard plant in tamarind gravy. Boiled for hours with bones from the feet of roasted duck and chicken, with dried chilli. One should take this with porridge laced with garlic oil, spring onion. Forget the white rice. A bit out of the way, but if you are around Kulim, give it a try.

I would like it better if the skin is crispy, the meat is juicy and marinated with 5 spice and salt. I don't mind if the meat is more gamey and not soft and falling off. But then again, perhaps the roasting style is different from the Cantonese Roast Duck style which I prefer. The roast pork is rather bland, suitable if you do not like tasty and juicy meat. The cracklings is good for senior people because it is not crunchy. Overall it's a healthy fare for those who is on a super low sodium, soft texture diet. I prefer a more sinful palate. Having said that, this restaurant has many fans, so this is merely my personal opinion.

Went back to eat at the shop after so many ten years didnt go. Well, it is great that they still maintain the taste. The roasted duck is still soft and tender. The flavor is still rich. And the duck is still good without much oily and fat. However, they change the menu a bit by no longer offering the yam duck and introduced the crispy sweet and sour duck. I think the crispy duck is Ok but i still prefer the normal roasted duck as it has more flavor with it. Overall the price is also cheap. One last thing, the roasted pork is so so only and u can skip it.

The thing is,this place has been one of the best roasted duck rice in the North. But recently the quality of the roasted duck is declining. Hope the shop maintains their quality.
