★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb paeh patin ever. And most importantly, cheap! Last night went to Akob but not as delicious as Mabiq. Eat more at Mabiq compared to Akob last night but Akob costs me more. Mabiq is definitely a must visit place if you are looking for local dishes in Kuantan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious ikan patin masak tempoyak. The food is quite cheap too! It's a self-service restaurant, so you gotta take the drinks by yourself. As you eat, someone will come to your table to calculate your bill. The only problem is that the location is far from the main road, so if you're relying on Uber/Grab, better book them in advance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This should be an example for other Tahfiz centre,as they set up a business to collect funds for their centre and students development and maintenance.The menu is a variety focusing on Pahang's traditional specialties.Not bad in taste too,the price is reasonable and affordable.The restaurant and staff cleanliness is very well taken care of.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location a bit far from main road. Limited seat availability, so if you go during peak hour, maybe need to wait a bit for seat.
Their patin masak tempoyak really good. Tried the Pais also and it taste really good (but a bit spicy). I have tried others like raja kancil and selera patin bangau at temerloh and I can say, if you go to kuantan area, give this shop a try. You will not regret it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is quite secluded with ample parking area. Food is very nice especially the fish cooked with durian paste. A bit far off from Mabiq 2 (which was on the way at the left side after the bridge), where there tends to be more people as it is a lot is bigger from this place (only 10 table for 4). The food however was taken from the Mabiq 2 kitchen. The price is very reasonable.

When i visit @ 1:30 pm on wednesday patin tempoyak already finished . Seem the place really have their own crowd. Having pais patin instead, finger lickin good. Litle bit rural but ample parking space
