★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an intetesting place. They have pasar malam (evening food bazaar) every Friday, Saturday and Sunday) selling mostly Chinese food. There are many Chinese restaurants too. Prices are cheap compared to big cities nearby like Melaka. A beautiful Chinese Buddhist temple was on another road nearby. Most houses are old houses modernised or beautifully renovated, indicating that the residents' standard of living is not too bad. This is a popular place for Singapore visitors as a detour from their Melaka trip.
