The view from this temple is always beautiful, especially early in the morning and at night.. People hike to get here to here from the Jalan Gasing hiking trail..

Could be reach by the hiking trails. The trails are quite steep and could be challenging for kids or newbies. There are many split roads along the trails, pls download the hiking apps before heading to the trails to avoid lost direction.

i remember first coming to. this temple 40 year plus ago, there was a white bearded priest who looked like professor Dumbledore, it was still a small establishment and wooden house around, then within next 20 yrs huge structure was built, was slightly teetering to the sides but the evening pooja was a magnificent affair with soul vibrating music played after aarti, gave you goosebumps, then some influence from outside broke down the the big temple and returned to the present small structure, some say Shiva prefers the simple peaceful abode compared to the grand one earlier. Either way, it is a special temple on top of a hill with magnificent views at sunrise and sunsets. Last we went men are strictly required to wear long pants, maintain silence and don't loiter around. The monkeys are hilarious, dont carry handbags with any food, saw one snatch a bag and ran. They get fed by many at entrance, so they can smell your archana banana and ponggal from far. Share food responsibly. Keep cleanliness. Dont jump queue, Shiva is always there. Don't disturb other people prayers and meditation. Dont block others in large groups, it's a small space. Try not to smash coconut near people who are praying. Om Shivaya Namaha.

One of the peaceful and calm temple in Kuala Lumpur with a beautiful view and lots of monkeys. The view of the city from here is breath taking. A place where you can experience both calmness and beauty.

Nice hilltop temple. Need to quickly complete the construction - great potential, superb views! On Sundays, you may get a free breakfast too. Pls do not litter or feed the monkeys.

I have heard about this temple before, and my first time visiting this temple gave me good vibes. Though it's a small and simple layout, the serenity gives a good ambient to meditate and enjoy the city view from the hill top. It's a must visit, especially for Lord Shiva devotees.
