Beshe-beshe. But the area is kept clean. The mural still looks beautiful even though it is 3 years old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited back in Feb on a walking tour of the city. There’s much street art in Muar, but this is by far the biggest concentration in the city. There’s an eclectic mix of artworks with no specific theme. Fans of Japanese anime and Disney cartoons will find some of the art interesting and there are also themes related to the culture and history of Muar and Johor Bahru. The murals can be found in the covered Uptown Maharani Muar on Jalan Sisi. There are several side streets perpendicular to Jalan Sisi, although most of the artworks are on the lanes between and parallel to Jalan Abdullah and Jalan Maharani.
There are also plenty of eateries on Jalan Sis, so it’s worth it to combine eating and seeing the murals.
