โ โ โ โ โ A must visit site in Penang where Buddhist convene to learn Dhamma, meditate & seek alternative medication. Envelope & dwell in cool, quiet, peaceful & serenity @ shrine hall. Joss stick, oil & lotus candle offering are free even if you do not offer any donation. Bring your own offerings of fruit, milk or candles @ Stupa. Get a few booklets, book or listen to free Dhamma CDs to learn a few golden Buddha's advise to help understand and elevated your problems.

Mahindrama Buddhist temple must be one of the most historical and prominent temples in Penang and Malaysia. Itโs a prime example of a Theravada Sri Lankan Buddhist temple rich in vibrant colors, images, structures and symbols. Itโs said to contain relics of the Buddha, and a fully grown Bodhi tree originating from a sapling in Anuradhapura Sri Lanka, that descended from the original Bodhi tree in Bodhi Gaya India under which the Buddha attained Enlightenment.
What I love most is the free community services rendered by volunteers; from Pali chanting to Meditation, TaiChi, Dharma classes, to Sunday school for children, free Medical clinics etc ??
