Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan atau MAIK ditubuhkan pada 17 Safar 1334 bersamaan 24 Disember 1915 melalui satu perisytiharan oleh KDYMM Sultan Muhammad Ke IV. Penubuhannya bertujuan untuk menasihati KDYMM Al-Sultan selaku ketua agama berkenaan dengan hal ehwal agama Islam dan adat istiadat Melayu Kelantan. Pentadbiran Majlis pada awalnya terletak di Bangunan Pejabat Tanah dan Jajahan Kota Bharu di hadapan Istana Balai Besar. Pada 25 Disember 2012 bersamaan 11 Safar 1434, Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan telah menyambut 100 tahun penubuhannya. Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan diterajui oleh Yang Berhormat Mulia Tengku Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohamad Rizam bin Tengku Abdul Aziz (Tengku Temenggong Kelantan) selaku Yang Dipertua Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan yang ke-18 bermula 2019 hingga ke hari ini.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to apply for my father's divorce certificate but had to wait almost an hour for the resit and suddenly the staffs mentioned the document also with the payment missing, nowhere to be found. Really hope that the staffs take responsibility in every little things.
