★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AirConditioned local fare, with proper lattes. So you are paying for some comfort. Thankfully still open after the 2 year Covid situation, currently allowing dine-in. Decent food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and lots of variety. A little on the expensive side though. The Nasi Lemak is on the dry side and some people love it that way but not me. The rendang kerang is flavorful and so is the lontong (nasi impit masalodeh actually). Love the soto - simple and light for breakfast. English breakfast is complete and filling but the mushroom is a little dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice lempeng with rendang kerang tapi i wonder how harga lempeng dengan sambal even more expensive than a full nasi lemak biasa. Last time rm6 shj, just recently naik rm2 kepada rm8 against nasi lemak biasa rm7 - it was more than 30% hike! (note: kalau takeaway, extra RM1).
Come here for Malay food only or else please feel sorry for yourself. My last visit here saw that the cafe needs a very serious grooming exercise. Lampu2 dusty dan paling obvious, greeneries banyak dah kekeringan dan tak terjaga.
Overall view -
(i) Food - Malay selections are good and generously portioned.
(ii) Drinks - Teh tarik - OK, Coffee - moderate
(iii) Price - Generally at par with others, except for the lempeng.
(iv) Service - OK, nothing above the market, buka awal tapi tutup on weekends.
(v) Ambience - Moderate

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A charming malay food inspired cafe in Taman Melawati. Serving mostly home cooked inspired dishes, with your usual big breakfast dishes and cakes. Service is friendly and fast. Portions are quite large and prices are very reasonable. Seems to attract families like crowd, although quite crowded but they are able to manage the crowd well and service is impeccable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi folks. What an yummy place to be. At the edge of town, nice family run cafe. The waiters are sooooo polite and guess what, the food is so flavoury too. Ambience warm. If you are first time in KL, pop in, parking is right in front or just GRAB it. After eating here, take a walk to Melawati Mall which is less than 3 minutes walk. Enjoy and well done.
