★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The present king’s father (the late HRH Sultan Abu Bakar), mother (the late HH Raja Fatimah) and Queen (the late HH Tengku Ampuan Hajjah Afzan) were laid to rest in this mausoleum, which is decorated with patterned zellij and carved plaster. It is a beautiful place, very well maintained, quite dignified. You can park relatively close by and there is no admission fee. If you are going to Pekan, make sure you stop by this site. But visitors must be respectfully dressed. Show some respect and tone down your voice when you are inside!
