Don't try purchase any tools or services on the last of a month, as they close their accounts on that day!
Don't trust the person on the phone even when you call ahead. They do not tell you that transactions can't be done on that day. They also have no idea their technician/s are on medical leave. It could be a wasted trip.
On the other hand, staff on the shop floor are very helpful, knowledgeable and try mitigate the problems with their poor accounting system or lack of technicians.

β β β β β Tools are good, but can't say the same for the people working at makita HQ. Please do a KPI for Mr. Chen to follow. I'm not sure what's his role at makita is. His title seems to be Service Manager but can't even arrange a callback after multiple calls to reach him. When i go to their office, not much machines to service. Normally they would put their machines on the shelves near the sofa for servicing if any. Bottom line, not fit for the job. The lady who answers the phone also not very professional.
Will ask you where you bought your tools and ask you to go back for the dealer. So it will be lesser job for them. I think it's time makita management be aware of its staffs unprofessionalism. With this kind of attitude and no service given kind of attitude, sooner or later they will drive customers to other brands because makita customer service in Malaysia really SUCKS big time!
