β β β β β The imposing structure for the main hostel complex takes my breath away. The history of the school is something the town of Kuala Kangsar can be proud of.

β β β β β Founded in 1905 as an english medium secondary school for the sins of the malay royalty and nobility. The purpose of the school was to establish an english speaking malay elite. The college produced future kings where five of them later became the Yang Di Pertuan Agong, Malaysia's second prime minister, statesmen and politicians, top civil servants and professionals. After the second world war the college was opened to boys of talent regardless if background.
