★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not describing anything pertaining to the institution.
It was named Malay Women Teachers' College (MWTC)
not MLTC. It was set up to complement the Sultan Idris
Training College (SITC) for males established during the
first quiarter of the 20th century. SITC has since evolved
into the Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
Both were training institutions for would-be Malay School
Teachers in the then Malaya.
