โ โ โ โ โ This is a simple restaurant with a long history. They were previously operating in the now famous Jonker Street for many years.
They still serve the same dishes that they were serving for the last 60 years.
Their curry chicken and braised pork are good and popular. Their cabbage dish is simple and still very popular. The curry is Chinese Style and different from the usual curry. Braised Tofu, Braised Tofu Pok and Braised Eggs go well with curry rice.
Their drink choices are the usual coffee shop selections.
Their service is fast.
Cleanliness is good.
Prices are very reasonable. Cash and e-wallet payments are now accepted here.
Parkings are roadside parkings. Usually have no problem getting a parking slot.
Patrons on wheelchairs can patronize this restaurant easily.

โ โ โ โ โ Oh my goodness this place is amazing. My first experience with curry rice and this place blew my mind. Writing this review is making want to travel back to Melaka just for this! I'm surprised this place doesn't have an hour queue because it certainly deserves it. Melaka's best kept secret.

โ โ โ โ โ Well marinated egg, tau kua n pork. Fast and friendly service too. Remember to ask for their curry gravy as it goes well with the braised gravy. It's a good combination. The best way to eat is to "banjir" the rice.

โ โ โ โ โ Every time I come to Malacca on business, Iโm sure to head to this restaurant with colleagues, clients, or business partners and just made a return trip here againโฆ
The rice is as sizable as always and the meat is of good portions, particularly the pork and chicken wings. And seems like the taste never changed over the years, with the same great flavor from previously!
Which explains why in addition to the few of us eating in, there was also a queue of 4-5 people at any one time when we were there!
