The decor has a nostalgic traditional home-feel with enamel plated kitchen utensils displayed on shelves and main wall. The place has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Only 5 set of traditional family-type round marble tables and solid wooden chairs are available. We order several popular home dishes. The table service is courteous and helpful. Prices are affordable. Parking is easily available before 6pm. It's advisible to first call for reservations to avoid disappointment.

Actually when I called on Thurs I was told Saturday is already fully booked for private lunch & dinner but Ms Nancy was kind to accommodate us for early dinner 5.30 to 7pm upon hearing it is mom’s birthday????. The food was so so good and busy enjoying them that we had forgotten to take photo of the food. I wanted to try as many of their signature dishes as possible so ended up over ordered however nothing goes to waste as I brought my own containers to ‘tarpau’ including the pork knuckle bone which made extra yummy porridge for my parents the following day??. My advise is to listen to Nancy’s recommendation including the number of dishes ?? as she kept telling me is too many dishes but greedy me?. All my siblings, nieces & nephews including my parents enjoyed the dinner very very much. Highly recommended, everything is yummy including their dessert - Chinese pancake. My only advise is Don’t try to be greedy like me ordering too many at one go, just come back again & again to try out other dishes?? but I’m sure all will be good. Looking forward our next gathering there!

This was my favourite restaurant. We were there with my family on the 18th May to celebrate my partner's birthday. The menu is nothing like the rest of the Chinese restaurants in the vicinity. There were 4 tables for up to 10 pax, and 2 smaller tables if I recall correctly. I didnt take many photos as we just dug in as soon as the dishes were served! The chicken with salted egg was my favourite! The ran out of chicken rolls which I wanted to check out. Every single dish was delicious! They even helped us store the cake in their refrigerator and helped served the cake! Thank you very much for such an enjoyable evening!

Lady boss is friendly and helpful in recommending /advising on their dishes . I tried their signature pork ribs , golden tofu , steamed fish slices with enoki and stir fried spinach . Signature ribs tasted similar to Mongolian style pork . Golden tofu was like pumpkin butter milk with curry leaves and chilli padi. Overall the cooking is nice .

The meals arrive quickly, hot and delicious. There are many good dishes on and off the menu (pls do ask for them) - two of what I took last night were not on the menu. I must say the portions are good. Expecting the usual (as in stingy plates at some Chinese restaurants - you know who you are!), hubby and I ordered three dishes. The signature pork dish came first so we knew then we should have stuck to two ?. The dry shrimp topped tofu and then vegetables came fast. They make an effort to remember you or your name here so you know they have plenty of regulars. This was my fourth visit. As I usually had several friends with me, I hadn't noticed the portions until tonight. Observation powers sadly lacking. Do give this place a try. One of the food businesses worthy of a strong following.
