Hidden away at a corner of the old shopping arcade in Level 2, Komtar. This old eatery is a favourite for cheap, good hawker food. All the hawkers are Penangites. A little old now, they are, but still serving strong. Many of the state government leaders eat here too and if you are lucky, you might even bump into the Chief Minister!

A lunch place for local/nearer mall working people. Personally like the curry mee and porridge, atmosphere was ventilated well. Overall food like chicken rice, char hor fan, fish noodle was not bad too. Pumpkin barley drink is a must order from here. As time keep going on, nice food overhere always disappear without any signs..

It is hidden spot and it is a good spot. We were recommended by our Grab driver to come here. There's no fancy signs or fancy gimmicks in the way the char kuey teow is done here, but it is at a good price (small no egg RM5, small egg RM5.5, large egg RM6) with a nice 鑊氣/wok hay, and a straightforward meal. We had to fly to Phuket soon, so we ordered a takeaway. The flavours may not have been as delicious as when it was fresh, but still darn decent and better than that famous New Siam one in our opinion. Lots of older folks hang around here for their favourite past times. One of the guys chatted up with us about his job and retirement, and gave us some tea bags as souvenirs.
