Went to office with my friend to wait for the other girl to settle stuffs and the receptionist didnt allow us to sit inside and asked us to wait outside at the gazebo. Whats the point of paying high cost for the facilities if the beautiful seats are not for the people to use?!

This campus provides good facilities for students both academically and sports. It is one of the leading private medical colleges in Malaysia! Good teaching faculties and learning environment.

This is an honest review from a student. I will be mainly writing on the clinical years here for the upcoming students. Let me begin with Surgery. You will definitely learn so much during this posting. There are some incredible lecturers both in Muar and Melaka. Baby surgeon, Prof Anantha Rao are amazing. Baby surgeon’s YouTube video really helped me so much. Some lecturers made me so confident on my clinical examinations. Some encourage up to a point teaching weaker students in the evening. This are how good lecturers are. But there are also many downfalls during the posting. The head of department in Melaka is racist and very demotivating. He uses words which can really bring you down, if you do any mistake (as a student we tend to make so much of mistakes, and he can’t tolerate it) and also complain all the time on how busy he is yet he is taking class. I mean come on we are paying so much. Isn’t that his responsibility. Just talk to him and u will feel like the most hopeless person on earth and can go into major depression. He looks down at everyone. And there is no learning at all. He is probably the only head of department whose teaching I never enjoyed. There is another lecturer here for surgery, he screams during bedside teaching where the entire ward will hear. Embarrass you infront of all the patients, hit your head with his knuckles, (from what i know in school teaches are prohibited from hitting the students, yet it happens here). I have encountered patients telling me to be careful of him. That is how bad the scenario can go. This is when students have attendance problem. The stress during Surgery posting was unbearable for me. Teachers should motivate students, and they can do it in a nice way. Frightening and demotivating a student is definitely not going to help. There are other departments where learning was so much fun. The lecturers were strict but we learnt a lot! We were able to clear our doubts.

Due to COVID-19. Hospital Melaka, Jasin, Segamat is not allowing any students to enter. MMMC decides to charter 100+ students daily from Melaka to Hospital Muar. Not only does it break interstate travel rules but also increases transmission chance and exposure risk to all students and patients. This is a total joke as these students travel all the way to other state and put themself at risk, but there are no slots for students to even enter the ward! There are 40+ students from different batches waiting for their turn to enter the wards to look at patients. Furthermore there are barely any patients in the ward. So all these students travel interstate and expose themselves for nothing! All just this college wants to finish everyone of for their own financial benefit!

Horrendous. Recently I came across the debacle on Twitter which exposed all the alleged politics and harassment happening to students in this university. I was considering sending my two children here for dentistry but upon seeing pages of terrifying experiences by students, I have decided to look elsewhere for the betterment of my children and their well-being. Parents I STRONGLY urge you all to do your research online about this university and AVOID sending your children here.

Came in as a patient, receptionist was very uncooperative and rude, even scolded a student in front of me, heard alot of stories, even lecturers having superiority complex, no accountabilityand respect to how they treat students, even how the receptionist addresses students is rude
