Gave it a shot anyways.
The food was good.
Ambiance was good.
Staff was friendly.
We had a good time here.
The Bad rating in google I assume was because
When we walk into mario the ambiance and the setup of the whole entire restaurant set our expectation high.
Its feels like we're eating in a fancy steak house.
The food was good. The portion for red meats is abit to little..the meats are slice thinly.
Imagine eating western in a place like uptown. Many love it because its cheap and acceptable. Same here with mario.
They offer food of that standard and price but with a nicer setup. But we tend to assume due to the enviroment they are serving food like the standard of fancy steak houses.
So lower your expectation, and give it try..Its good enough.
P.S : Maybe the owners can improve the food standard abit and it would be great. You have a nice restaurant but the food standard doesnt compliment the enviroment..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered their chicken chop once through food panda, it was good. Decided to dine in with my colleague but their service was super bad. We waited for more than 20mins but none came to serve us. Understand if it was busy but it wasn't. Both of the staffs saw us sitting outside but they chose not to acknowledge us at all till the very end. We left with disappointment and will never return again. Good food but bad service is still a downfall for such a restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for budget western food. Overall food taste is consider okey, but not really superb taste. Portion wise, for chicken chop is consider standard size, but for lamb chop, meat cut is too thiny. Maybe because of the raw price increase nowdays. Abit frustrated with the menu availability. Rice out of stock, can drink out of stock, even that time just 630pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very fast service. I'm literally just waiting 5 minutes and food (chicken chop) already served. The taste not bad and the price are reasonable. Recommended for those who comes to setia alam to enjoy western foods.
