★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food taste wise I wouldn't say it's the best but it was very good. Big highlight was the variety of good tasting chutneys (thovayal). Special mention about the mango chutney and pumpkin dish, top notch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 1 mutton briyani, 1 chicken briyani. Mutton undercooked with fats. Too spicy (at least should be to a moderate level where most people can eat). Not worth the price. Bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the restaurant is currently under renovation & upgrade, to finish on 20th Sept. I reached late this afternoon hence banana leaf was over, but wasn't disappointed, had their signature chicken masala biryani with chicken/fish curries and masala tea upon it. the masala tea adds titillating effect in mouth.. just awesome. moreover with a traditional feeling of lunch in giant tree shade. the menu has also been changed. the new menu is also updated here. as the restaurant is not in full swing yet, will make a comeback later on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is pretty good, but waitress misrepresented the available food to us. Such horrendous service.
Told us ONLY 4 items (side dishes) were available on the menu that day which were only the FRIED food without any gravy. So we had no other options but to order the fried side dishes since we were really hungry and those were the only available meat. However, after all of our food arrived, another waiter magically appeared bringing out other side dishes that supposedly "weren't available" earlier - the one with the gravy, which was what I wanted earlier.
I don't know what trick they are trying to pull but I am not having it. Perhaps trying to make you order more food by deceiving customers as regards to what food is available in the beginning then magically appearing with other food that you actually want. Buggers. Will not be coming yo this branch anymore. So disappointed!
Price wasn't cheap too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meal that we had today was just perfect. Coupled with some great service, a fine day for sitting outside under the trees, this is my favorite place to have authentic South Indian food!! Will certainly comeback soon!!

You could just eat the banana leaf meal without ordering anything else, seeing that you are given a variety of dishes included in the meal itself. 4 different chutneys, 4 types of veges, 6 types of curries by default (Yes 6! 3 veg, 3 non veg), a dessert to end the meal and a papadam to top it off. Touching a little bit on the pricey side though if you take additional side dishes like chicken 65 or crab or fried okra etc.. Overall very nice food!

Mutton varuval RM12-RM15 (estimated price) was delicious but small portion.
Sambal sotong RM12-RM15 (estimated price) is rubbery, not recommended,
We ordered 4 pax set banana leaf meal, 1 portion of mutton varuval, 1 portion of sambal sotong, 2 hot lime drink, 1 masala tea and 1 teh ‘o’ ice limau. Total price RM81.
Price is very expensive as the portion is small.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon at 12:15pm. There were only 3 groups of customers and food was served within 5 mins.
Overall the set meal, mutton varuval, curry gravies was delicious bit price is expensive as mutton and sotong was served in a shallow sauce plate about 3 inches length.
