ALLAAHU LAA ILAAHA ILLA HUWAL HAYYUL QAYYUMU. LAA TA'KHUDZUHUU SINATUW WA LAA NAUUM. LAHUU MAA FISSAMAAWAATI WA MAA FIL ARDHI. MAN DZAL LADZII YASFA'U 'INDAHUU ILLAA BI IDZNIHI. YA'LAMU MAA BAINA AIDIIHIM WA MAA KHALFAHUM. WA LAA YUHITHUUNA BI SYAI-IN MIN 'ILMIHII ILLAA BI MAASYAA-A. WASI'A KURSIYYUHUSSAMAAWAATI WAL ARDHA. WA LAA YA-UUDUHUU HIFZHUHUMAA WAHUWAL 'ALIYYUL AZHIIM.
Ertinya :
Allah, tidak ada Tuhan melainkan Dia yang Maha Hidup lagi terus menerus mengurus makhlukNya, tidak mengantuk dan tidak tidur KepunyaanNya apa yang di langit dan di bumi. Siapakah yang dapat memberi syafa'at (pertolongan) di sisi Allah tanpa izinNya? Allah mengetahui apa-apa yang di hadapan mereka dan di belakang meraka, dan mereka tidak mengetahui apa-apa dari ilmu Allah melainkan apa yang dikehendakiNya. Kursi Allah meliputi langit dan bumi, Dan Allah tidak merasa berat memelihara keduanya, dan Allah Maha Tinggi lagi Maha Besar. (QS : Al-Baqarah : 255)
Ayat ini disebut ayat KURSI kerana di dalam nya terdapat perkataan KURSI, ertinya tempat duduk yang megah lagi yang mempunyai martabat. Kursi juga bermaksud pemerintahan dan kekuasaan.
Ayat Kursi merupakan ayat yang paling agung kerana mengisahkan keagungan Allah serta kekuasaan-Nya yang tidak terbatas. Ayat ini ialah ayat yang ke-255 dalam Surah Al-Baqarah.
Meskipun membaca dan mengamalkan ayat kursi mempunyai banyak khasiat, namun bagi hamba, membaca dan memahami ayat kursi adalah semata-mata untuk mencari keredhaannya dan bagi membetulkan pegangan dan menguatkan tauhid kita kepada Allah Taala. Bukan ada niat yang lain.
Terserahlah kepada Allah Taala untuk memberikan apa-apa ganjaran kepada kita ataupun tidak atau untuk memberikan apa-apa manfaat dan khasiat kepada kita ataupun tidak. kerana kita adalah hambanya.
Berikut adalah cara membaca ayat Kursi mengikut contoh bacaan beberapa Qari ternama;

Means:
God, there is no God but the Living One who continues to take care of His creatures, sleepless and sleepless in His being in heaven and on earth. Who can intercede for Allah without His permission? Allah knows what is before them and behind them, and they know nothing of what Allah knows but what He wills. God's seat covers heaven and earth, and Allah does not care for them both, and Allah is Most High, Great. (QS: Al-Baqarah: 255)
This verse is called the KURSI verse because in it there is the word KURSI, which means the highest seat of honor. Chairs also mean government and power.
The chair of the Chair is the greatest verse for expressing God's greatness and His unlimited power. This verse is the 255th verse of Surah Al-Baqarah.
Although reading and practicing the verse has many benefits, for the servant, reading and understanding the verse verse is simply to seek his pleasure and to correct our grasp and strengthen our faith in Allah Taala. There is no other intention.
