★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite small to be called a mosque but it is, as Friday prayers are held here every Friday for the communities in and around this village. If not, it would have been called a ‘Surau’ or Mini Mosque instead of 'Masjid'. One of the conditions to hold Friday prayers is that there must be at the least 40 'religiously qualified' men in the congregation. 'Religiously qualified men' simply means a Muslim •'male' of •'post-puberty age' (meaning having reached the age of understanding) and •'mentally sane', that is, he is not a nutter or delusional nor intoxicated with drugs, alcohol or any other forms or types of unstable state of mind.
