★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The largest mosque (masjid) in Kuala Berang. Fairly uncomfortable a bit because there is a construction of a building at the main entrance. The masjid itself should be well maintained in all aspects, especially in cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Masjid Sultan Mahmud is a lovely mosque situated in the centre of the town district center of Kuala Berang. Opened since 1991, the mosque boasts a mixture of classical Arabian and modern architecture with a traditional dome and one minaret. The interior of the mosque is neat and spacious; the men and women praying area are segregated in the middle-half of the mosque, therefore providing equal space for both gender to pray.
