★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tried to purchase pre-paid cards on 2 different occasion in April & May 2017, but the young sales men just claimed that the Maxis system were down and not able to register.
I suspect they were just being too lazy to work.
Will try again later to confirm my suspicions

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service, claims that you cannot purchase the Hotlink RED Prepaid pack for just RM10 when it is clearly stated on the website that is available for purchase. Forces customer to buy a RM45 package. Unprofessional and misleading business practices, also very bad attitude towards customers. Avoid at all cost.

And the Maxis customer service guy is not really better. When you are cheated by the retail staff and called them, he said, “you should have called us by the time you purchase. What is the point calling us now?”.
