Went to this centre to get a SIM card replacement this evening. This lady whom claimed herself to be Ms Chiew (D16973S1) served me and pointed on the front of her counter and I mistakenly thought that she needs my thumbprint. She then said how can I replace a SIM card for you without your phone number, scoffingly. I bear with her impolite attitude and gave her the phone number.
However, I didn’t notice that I gave the wrong number. After checking the system, she asked whether this is the correct number, for three times. I said yes and then she held the IC, demanding that this number doesn’t belong to me, then only I noticed that I wrote the wrong number. This lady then said:” I asked for 3 times already leh!” and gave me that ‘you’re such an idiot’ face.
As a customer service person, politeness and friendliness are the key, regardless whether you’re working under a small company or a big company like Maxis. You are representing your company, and you are well trained to serve customers. Whether you’re in a bad mood or having a bad day, please treat your customer politely as your customer did not provoke you thus kindly do not spread negativity to your customer.

JUST BECAUSE I AM AN “ MALAYSIAN INDIAN” THEY JUST LOOK DOWN ON ME? I TOOK A NUMBER BEFORE A QUEUE UP I WAS WAITING FOR 20 MINS LONG TO PAY MY BILL. ALL OF SUDDEN THERE WAS A “MALAYSIN CHINESE” FAMILY CAME ALL OVER TOOK A NUMBER WHICH COMES AFTER ME AT THIS POINT THEY DIDNT PLAY THEY NUMBER IN USUAL NUMBER BOX AND JUST BRING THE CHINESE FAMILY TO PAY FIRST. AS I WALKED TO THE COUNTER AND ASKED WHY YOU ARE NOT CALLING MY NUMBER SHE TALKED SUPER RUDE AND SHOUTED VERY RUDELY!!!
I HOPE THE BRANCH MANAGER WILL TAKE ACTION
SINCE ITS MALAYSIA NOT CHINA

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the worst customer service I ever received. The salesperson did not make an attempt to entertain me when I’m approaching the premise and wanted to enquire the phone.
Online database suggested me the place has the stock for the phone, but the person said no longer available. Perhaps Maxis doing a bad job maintaining the database or the salesperson just lazy to update.
