I suspect that someone from Maybank stole CAD $800 out of my Canadian bank account. I've been fighting for over 1 year with my bank to recover the stolen funds. To all foreigners using their debit cards in these ATM's, beware of a potential Maybank scam where your transaction is declined and no physical money is dispensed but the money is still withdrawn from your account and never returned.

β β β β β Recently a cheque given to me was bounced, the issuer called to inform me. I called up the bank to ask why it did not inform nor contact me on that. The reply was I have to check n manage my own account. I also have to drop by to pick up the returned cheque. Wonder why we let them keep our money, with no service rendered, if we have to manage n check every single matter ourselves??

β β β β β The best Maybank branch IMO. The staff are always accommodating, very professional and very very polite. Never encountered any issues even with the ongoing covid SOPs in place.

β β β β β To open acct already given documents one week ago n ask me come today..n dtill day officer in charge not around,you maybank only hv one officer,cant they hv replacement ,whn a staff wirks in bank they shld know at least basic thgs to open an acct..If banks continue like this n dont serve all customers,bank is going to close down one day where customers wil hv other options than hv dealings with bank anymore...
