β β β β β Nice, polite staffs but can be incompetent.
Went there to open a bank account for my husband (British with spouse visa).
First time went there we were told to get a stamp by immigration stating that he is allowed to work. We went to immigration, got the stamp.
Second visit. The exact same staff then asked her colleague if that's the correct stamp, looked like she was not sure? Then the colleague, said should it be changed to a working visa? Spouse that are allowed to work still use spouse visa with a stamp stating that they are allowed to work! If Maybank wants to make a regulation relates to other Department or Law such as Immigration Act, get your fact right first! Then they started asking for other documentation. It angered me so much for the fact the staff weren't sure WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?? These are the staff at the counters not a guard. These knowledge should be with them. We then we're given a list of documents we need to submit alongside the form, required us to contact my husband employer again. The staff even said, it's better to come in the morning as we went there at 2.30 pm. Why does it matter as long as we go there before closing time!
3rd visit - went well and sorted. Dealt with different more knowledgeable staff. Process only took 20 minutes plus waiting time 20 minutes.
The main point is, why not give us the list of documents needed when we first visited? And how is it possible staffs at the counters doesn't know the requirements? Seriously. Do they think we al have so much free time to keep on going to the branch for one task ?

He provided clear explanation of their products, guided the application step-by-step, really supportive and most importantly, really efficient as he knows what he is doing. Keep up the great work!

β β β β β Just helping someone to call to inquiry and stay online for 31 mins, nobody answer then it terminate my call before reaching your CS. Can't believe nowadays someone will still use your service, luckily I personally stop using your service about 2 decades ago and it prove that Maybank never will improve.

β β β β β I made an appointment at Maybank Hartamas but the lady at the counter was so rude and full of excuses so I went to Solaria branch without any appointment. All staff were friendly and I was able to finish what I had to do within 15 minutes. Thank you!
