MAZE Escape Room 密室逃脫

Had fun plying dancing theme today. Very beginner friendly for noob like me as the staff will give hint when we are stuck. We played slightly over the time limit but they let us finish the game unlike other escape room ,game over when time is up. Staff will also explain the whole story after the game. Staff are all chinese speaking so you need to inform them earlier if you want to have english translate. Will definitely go again.

We played Dancing - was really fun and scary but we needed a lot of help from the staff :p the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return again!

Played the theme Scalpel today, which is not as shocking n fun as the theme Dancing last time. The NPC were good in playing the character.

Overall experience nice and the plot are nice too, recommended to come w friends^^ One of their theme call “Dancing” is very suitable for people who’s new to escape room

Very professional NPC. Ambience and atmosphere is kept very tense throughout the experience. Creative design of presentation that very much makes up for the storyline being standard. Overall, time spent is very quick and enjoyable.

Played the Curse of the Snake Valley. It was 50RM for deposit and a remaining 38RM to be paid before entering. They require you to sign a simple contract so you won't break anything or sue them. The rooms were a bit small but it added to the atmosphere. The automation with magnets and hydraulics was very cool. Things would move and light up by themselves so it added to the immersion. One of the highlights was a mechanism activated by infrared light, so it only worked when you got close. The crew kept giving us unsolicited hints and straight up answers to the challenges. We did not signal them. We were only stuck for a minute or two before they starting talking to us on the walkie talkies. The first room's clue was a bit obscure. There was no rhyme or reason and definitely was not logical. Near the end of the second room, there was a box that required a specific method to activate. It was again illogical although not exactly random. There were markings on the box that suggested one way but it turned out to be an entirely different method. The key to solving the last room was borderline impossible. Literally nothing throughout the adventure could have led you to solve it by yourself. The only way we could have finished is if we asked the crew. But of course, they told us how to do it before we could even call them. This last room is exactly the kind of thing that led me to stop playing escape rooms. The solution is entirely out of left field and simply unthinkable in the context of a 1 hour time limit. The crew was friendly and welcoming. They managed to convey the story but they could also work on their English a little bit. There are rooms solely in Chinese with NPCs as well. When the mechanics were not dismally mind-bending, it was very fun. But the constant walkie talkie chatter and the realization that the crew might be rushing you out for the next group leaves a bitter taste. Either way, RM88 is way too steep a price. I won't be coming back to this escape room any more. P.S. the toilet is out the back side of the building and you need to walk around.
