★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real gopeng taste especially the soup and the items such as 炸沙葛料 & 炸江鱼仔饼(Hard to find it elsewhere in KL). The soup was real authentic gopeng soup ?? Amazing..
I felt like gone back to Gopeng for a while during that 30 mins eating in the shop ?

Their coffee and tea are good as well.
They just renovated their shop and now both shop lots have air conditioner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste is average. Lai fun got a flour smell, weird after taste (kind of like sour) and soft. Ladyfinger taste sour. Cleanliness is definitely not satisfied because the waiter put down a teh c with a bug floating on it. Another drink was wrongly delivered. However the aunty stationed at cashier is friendly and willing to replace a new drinks for us. Price is average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two shoplots - one for dine in and another for the kitchen and order area. Ordered "lai fun" which was probably the closest to the real thing in Ipoh/Gopeng. Will have to return to try more dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here many times. Foods are great, but I'm not a fan of their signature noodles, most love dry curry bihun meet and fried jicama (sengkuang), they are selling it in frozen too. Must try their coffee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of fish paste stuffed item such as brinjal, bitter gourd, fu chuk, varieties of meat balls. Fried shreded turnips (sa kot) is crispy but would be nicer if thr is more fish paste. The pork tendon balls, fish balls r springy and fresh. It's self service to pick n choose your own choice of "yeong liu" order your noodles n drinks thn pay at counter n collect number tag.
The signature rice noodles (lai fun) is really nolstagic. Very original, taste of the good old days. Rarely find this noodles texture elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here for breakfast, went around 8am and it was already opened. Ordered curry with dried mee. Lots of choices of yong tau Foo which you can have it as a side dish, just grab your favorite and all orders are done at counter and food will be served to your table (need to inform table number to counter staff). The condiments esp the sambal was bit sorry, but I like the blended cili padi sambal, ada omphh as well as the yong tau Foo kicap (not sure what they call this).
The curry soup is not like typical curry mee that you used to have at normal Chinese shop. This curry soup has the taste of fish curry powder and it taste like the one in Gopeng. I loved the curry noodles anyway.
Overall, clean and fast service . Staff at counter, not sure if she is the owner was friendly. After finishing our meal, went to tapau some YTF home.
