★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come and have some light exercises, round of basket ball and short run around the clean and green pocket park. Used to be a sewerage ground that has stopped operation for many years before it was turned into a park after surrounding residents through the Residents Associations appealed and rejected other proposals from Chinese religious groups to turn it into a ground for thier religious activities. Residents Associations ciiting lose of greenery, noise, inappropriate use & purpose, lack of healthy amenities for residents, limited parking place and cornered access, finally the pocket park was approved and funds allocated from the ADUN's and MBPP (then was known as MPPP) allocation in line with the state government's cleaner and greener Penang.
