Initial plan was to eat at Sri Paandi but since the direction was difficult and was very hungry, chosen to dine in here..Went to the corner shop which serve the rice.Staff was impatient and lack friendliness.Nasi kandar is RM8 and Nasi lemak is RM 10(Genting price). For those not taking beef, make sure inform the waiter to exclude the beef when asking for 'kari campur' otherwise he will add beef sauce too..Happened to me and he prepared new set with only chicken and fish curry.Roasted chicken priced RM14/piece whereas Ayam goreng berempah is priced RM 11.The latter is more worthy considering the taste and portion.Nasi lemak was bad but nasi kandar taste average.Next time want to go to Texas chicken since has better reviews.

Halal food court. It's ok to sell at premium price but at least the recipe has to be right. Bihun sup utara should not have taugeh in it!

It's a little hard to find Halal food in Genting Resorts area. There are some restaurants with halal food but the taste is normal. I would say food in KL tastes better. It's quite expensive in Genting Highlands if someone has a budget limit. Overall nice experience.

Had my latest visit to Genting yesterday 13th. May (513) was amazed at how thing changes so dramatically fast. This is one place that's not crowded even at meals time, had my latest order of Nasi dagang and it costs me RM36.00 for that plate of food. I understand now, why people don't eat here. Previous review: Eating out during holidays could be enjoyable yet stressful, especially not knowing what you are consuming and how your taste bud's acceptance. Medan Selera at Genting garnered more towards the local spicy cuisine, the choices could be tempting for those who enjoys spicy cooking. If you're not into local Malay dishes then it's not your baby otherwise stay away unless you're plainly into nasi lemak only. Boy, it would be a waste having to pay the Genting price just for that. I can tell you it's not the best nasi lemak for what you are paying for without anything special, the toppings are half an egg, some fried ikan billies (anchovies) with some peanuts and sambal that's a hefty price. Food taste mediocre but hunger knows no barriers anything goes no matter how lousy. Don't be fooled by the menu's wide choices instead what's offered is not the original taste. My advice; unless you're very hungry then stay clear.

Food is ok. But like the Claypot chicken rice lack of flavour & ingredients.

Most of the sets are RM15 with one hot drink, it's either white coffee or teh tarik from the Nescafe machine. In my point of view, I think that the chicken noodle soup was lacking of taste. The drink, teh tarik was okay for me. The price is kind of standard in Genting. My friend ordered roti canai only one piece roti was given, however the curry was good tho. Therefore, I believe that it is more expensive and I do not recommend people to order that. There are much more food available such as nasi lemak, soto ayam, Ipoh noodle, mee goreng mamak and etc.
