★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always have been (since I was a pre school kid) one of my favourite food joints since the days of "Pokok Ketapang" (Indian Almond Tree). The hawkers are friendly, tasty variety of food makes you want to come again and a very relaxed environment (if you don't mind the normal coffee shop chatter).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite hawker food place. Been frequenting this place since schooling days from late 70's. Hawker food that I like are the laksa (n mee Siam), Curry rice, Char Siew/Siew Yoke rice & Char Tow Kueh, all original from the 70's. Also very popular is the Satay stall that relocated here from Jonker St not too long ago. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food looks delicious. Can smell the fragrance from far. Serves good range of hawker food (fried oyster, fried radish cake, char kuay teow, wantan mee, roti canai, chicken rice ball, etc..) with many local customers. Environment should be improved to attract more tourists

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be packed during the old glory days ie >40 years ago. (Known as underneath the big tree aka tai shi kiok in the old days)
Due to RMCO SOP therefore kindly do register at the entrance.
Still serve nice foods eg Fried Oysters, Curry rice, Mee Siam.
Just right beside Shell Petrol station.
Ample parking but do remember to use d parking apps

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small plate of economical bee hoon costs rm3. Just a few taugeh & nothing else. Disgusting - too expensive. This foodcourt is meant for locals & not tourists. Roti canai, nasi lemak rendang ayam is good & also the coffee - all at reasonable prices.
