★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited back in Feb before the MCO was put in place. The Muar Clock Tower ISA cute looking clock tower directly opposite the Sultan Ismail Bridge. It's a three tiered structure with two bottom tiers as square colonnade supporting a circular third tier. The whole structure is painted in a sky blue and white, like many buildings in Muar. It's supposedly inaccessible to the public, but I found the gates of the spiral staircase open and climbed up it anyway. It looked like someone was using the inside as a storage space, plus some building materials that look like they were intended as decorations, but for some reason abandoned. I did climb to the top to take a look around and also see if the views were any good. I wouldn't recommend climbing up the tower though as it looks unsafe and the views were that good anyway as the windows are small.
