β β β β β A must do activity in Muar if you want to know more about the town. Nice cruise along the Muar river. The cruise is clean and well maintained. Its jetty looks new & clean too.

β β β β β Went here with friends of the same batch for a site visit purpose. A nice windy weather on the cruise ?οΈ?. Price charged is RM 20 per head (quite pricy for a broke student but what do you expect?!?!). The cruise can be booked easily by private message the business owner. Business owner is active at Facebook. You can easily get his number there. It is recommended to book first because the service is limited to certain days and time. Any information regarding the change of schedule and business operation will be post at Facebook. There are otters near the river but hardly to be seen as the cruise didn't go nearby the river banks and Muar otters usually seen nearby trees and river. Although I didn't see any ?, the experience was still memorable as I can spend time with my friends physically after two years of online distance learning. β¨?

The counter operation not systematic..only 1 counter..you have to wait before make payment for the ticket..need to give your name 1st to the counter & wait for their announcement..got other people who just came but don't know how it supposed to be, just cut into the line with others that are already waiting to make payment..it's just that their counter operation not systematic..need to improve when there are so many visitors on weekend
During on The cruise they explain about history of Muar but the speaker not clear...you can't hear anything with loud sound of the cruise engine..
But you still can enjoy the view of Muar & Tangkak on the cruise..worth to try when in Muar

β β β β β My wife and I went to the Muar River Cruise in early March 2022. I found it to be so-so for the following reasons:-
1) I would advise you to call the place before going there. The timing of the operation is not consistent (they say they open on Saturday/Sunday and public holidays but they also said they opened on school holidays.
2) The timing of each cruise is also dependent on whether they meet the minimum guest, which is 15.
3) The tour is approximately 30 mins and there will be a tape being played which would explain the key points along the Muar river. So enjoy the breeze and the sights.
4) The price for each adult is RM20.

β β β β β the cruise itself was nice with explanations regarding the journey from the speakers (in malay). safety jacket were made compulsory to be worn, complete with children's.
however the service could be more punctual/frequent as we went there at 9.30am at opening time, but the first boat only arrived around 10.15am. had to wait long and find things to kill time for the time being.

β β β β β Having a 30 minutes boat ride with affordable price is totally awesome. Good explanation for each historical building visited. There's no safety issue along the ride. Just make sure wear the life jacket properly and tightly ?β
