★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here on 17/1/2020 for a reunion dinner with my Malaysian friends. Was surprised to find that the restaurant is actually located within a housing estate.
The house was nicely renovated to receive many diners and the food was delicious. I understand from my friend that you have to booked in advance of 1 week and it is open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Worth the drive from Singapore, thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tried this on 19/3/21. This is famous in Kulai. Restaurant only open for 3 days per week (Fri, sat & Sun only). Need to make reservation and pre-order your dish. Walk in might not acceptable as they always fully booked / reserved. All dish only have one size where if you have at least 4 pax or more will be better. Then you could able to try more dishes. All dishes come in one size and meant for a group. Signature chicken come in whole chicken, and soup also in one big pot. Tried their weng yao ji (signature chicken) where the meat is tender & juicy, you need to eat together with the chicken skin in order can taste the special made gravy that apply on the chicken. For those who don’t take chicken skin then you might find that you could not taste anything special. For the white pepper pork belly soup, very strong white pepper taste which is still alright but pork belly meat I felt too soft where don’t have chewy texture. Would probably try the pork rib next time. It’s recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roasted pork rib is so dry and overcooked. No meat and just bones. Very different from the reviews of other customers, bad quality control. Chicken is okay but nothing special. Overall, it's overrated and do not worth the time to travel that far for it.

But was a bit dirty in their plate, did not clean well.
Saw a mosquito inside the rice too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two of us went there hence unable to order too many dishes. All food have to be pre booked beforehand. Is located in a old housing area. Big empty lot for parking beside the house/restaurant. Tables are arranged in the house compound which cater mostly for large groups.
We ordered one whole chicken, one rice and one homemade drink. RM 51 in total. Chicken is juicy and goes well with the dipping provided, use hand to eat directly though gloves are provided too. Rice are not the normal rice, more like chicken rice taste. Worth a try.
