★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Experience of 'Kampung' style is there however the house condition that I live in have some flaw. During my stay, ceiling were torn down by water from heavy rain that lead to flooding at the kitchen. Scene were dark and gloomy.
It have stall nearby and near to IkM. 20 km away from Padang Besar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked this place during a long distance bike ride from Myanmar to Singapore, just an hour ahead via booking.com in sept 2019, arrived around 10pm - firt thing the lady said "Actually we are Muslim only" - aaaah ok ... But then, a few minutes later, her husband showed up - Mr. Harrison his name I think, super friendly and helpful, gave us a whole house to stay in, all was good.
If the lady does not want any other people than Muslims staying at her place, this should be mentioned clearly on booking.com - "Christians, Buddhists, Atheists - not welcome here" - just a suggestion!
This was our first night in Malaysia, the following 2 weeks we stayed at many different places all over Malaysia, we never had such an unpleasant experience again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hospitality. Beatiful scenery. The house we booked was being worked on so they placed us in an alternative just next to it. Great communication and easy to get food by the house. 25 mins from langkawi ferry.
