★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and hubby always drop by when we pass nilai i like the chicken rice i only have a request though, please make sure the food they serve is hot or at least warm especially the chicken as we had very cold chicken yesterday quite disappointed ?

The journey felt neverending as I drove my workhorse back to Klang Valley after a long day in the capital of Johor - I had just entered the state of Negeri Sembilan. I took a peek at my trusted Tissot and realised that it was almost time for dinner. "Dang! Another 1.5 hour to go and it'll be rush hour when I entered PJ" I thought to myself.
Not wanting to eat dinner alone, I called Jacky to check on his whereabout. When I informed him on my journey, he said "eh.. come join me in Nilai la. Remember the chicken rice I told you about?" Like Lewis Hamilton (used to write Michael Schumacher but he had retired) I set my Waze based on the location that he shared with me.
The restaurant is located inside a big commercial building. Since we were early, the dinner crowd had not trickled in yet.
◾Poached chicken - smooth and silky skin, moist & juicy meat drizzled with the combination of sesame oil and soy sauce.. this was good!
◾Chicken liver - my weakness and soon I walloped the whole plate by myself (since Jacky didn't fancy it)
◾considerably fat and juicy bean sprouts
◾Bouncy fish balls
◾The minced ginger paste and chilly sauce were perfect to compliment the chicken.
◾The rice was quite good as I could taste the chicken essence in it but after tasting the best rice (sorry it was homemade), this will have to do.
◾I saw that they were selling rojak buah as well and promptly asked for a plate with extra crispy fried fritter. The whole plate was covered with the prawn paste and then topped generously with crushed peanuts.
According to Jacky, this place is always packed during lunch (weekdays) due to the working crowd. By the way, it's pork-free but they do not have halal certification. However, he said that he saw our Muslim friends eating here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken was smooth, Tauge fresh.. reason I give 2 stars was the service. Staff saw me raisin the hand as I wanted to add rice but ignore me and continue to arrange the cutleries. I had no choice and reach the boss at cashier counter and he reply me everyone is busy. I can see very minimum staffs around and the restaurant had many tables....go hire more staffs please....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popular steamed chicken rice in Nilai. No pork served here. Lunch crowd is rather heavy. Nevertheless, turnaround time is fast for dine in and takeaway. Ample parkings available.
