★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come here more than 3 times already. Only because my parents love the foods. Never my favourite.The waitress really need to improve their manner; damn RUDE. The service is 1/10. DO NOT COME with empty stomach because u will hv to wait for an hour before you get your food. The price is too expensive. Makan gulai ikan sekor, udang masak kunyit, sayur campur + nasi utk 3 org = RM79. Bapak mahal

You can choose a few type of fish to be cooked as gulai, asam pedas and any other option.
Sotong goreng tepung is a must try item.
Price is inexpensive and worth the value.
Overall, highly recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huuuurm, our early plans were Ladang Nipah Napiah but the queue outside the ladang were a turn off. Just a few minutes futher from the ladang and we're here. The place is quite full due to lunch hour but manage to get a table just under a minute. Ordered Gulai Sembilang, Pari Assam Podeh, Sotong Tepung with Ikan Kembong Goreng tapau-ed for the anak bulus at home ?. The wait is about 30minutes for our foods to arrived. Oh, the rice is self served, just take it as you liked. Suprisingly our Gulai is pleasently delicious with tender ocras. Just to my liking. The Assam Podeh is just so so, it's nice but could be better. Sotong Tepung is superb, crunchy and nicely spiced. Owh, the drinks were Teh O Ais Limau and Nira Nipah. And another suprised the price is reasonable. All my dishes including the tapau-s plus 3 packs of their Gulai paste, was only RM72. The Gulai paste is RM8.90 each. That would leave RM45 for the dishes and drinks. Don't know why other reviewers seem to kena sembelih. You can make them kira balik your dishes one by one, it's your right as a paying customer. The price is not really cheap but it's not that damn expensive. Do give this place a try if you' re in the area and if there's no queues ?. Half an hour for the wait is not that fast either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite place to have gulai semilang whenever I balik kampung. Sedap ya ampun. Authentic gulai utara taste. Quite crowded during lunch hour, so please expect the food to take some time to be prepared because the lauk is made upon order. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended.
