★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sauce and the chicken are a bit on the sweeter side. Something that will appeal to the younger crowd and those with sweeter taste buds. Personally, felt it's a bit overdone from a sweetness level. Nonetheless, the chicken is nice and tender, fried to perfection and not too dry. Goes well with the sauce provided for the rice. The sambal is a bit on the spicier extreme. So it's kinda funny , having a rather sweet sauce and serve with a killer sambal sauce. If you want to try, suggest to go earlier around 11am. Anytime during lunchtime, you will be queuing for it. There is a nice stall next to it selling coconut, sugar cane and some other beverages. The drink seller also sells laksa (that's another different review altogether which I won't spoil it posting here).

But also know that I'm a typical chinese city boy with very limited experience with Malay food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to tapao, the nasi kukus and the chicken is nice. Generous portion. Can also dine in but only Limited tables available. Next to this nasi kukus stall is another stall selling tauhu sumbat and keropok lekor - also quite nice. Come and give it a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived early so there was no crowd as reported. The chicken is fried fresh and a reasonably sized piece too. So do the rice, which is cooked in small cups at the location.
A pack consists of a piece of chicken that you choose, rice, some gravy, the odd cucumber slice and a rather interesting bit of sambal belacan.
The chicken tastes alright but it is nothing to write home about. If at all something deserves acclaim it would be the sambal belacan, although I think there's a bit of sugar in it.
The price of rm6.90 deserves praise though so kudos to them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for cheap, good portion, delicious and succulent chicken with nasi kukus, here is the place.
Hidden gem in Kemuning, one pack of nasi kukus only RM6.50. You get a good portion of rice, big, juicy, full of rempah succulent chicken, pickled veg, curry and eye popping sambal.
The setup is what you see, Q up, choose your chicken part ( normally there arent any chicken whole leg left ) order your rice and your are good to go.
Strictly avoid lunch hour, unless you enjoy Q-ing process...
