It still taste as good as the last time I came here. The sotong besar and the ayam bakar are the recommended one. They do sell durian crepe here too.
The sotong is really soft in the inside and crispy on the skin. The chicken portion is really huge. can be shared among 2 to 3 people.

β β β β β What is all this hype all about?? Unless you are into "sotong besar" @ big fried calamari, there is basically nothing worth mentioning here. Had their bawal set. Nothing to complain about the pomfret because it taste exactly like plain fried pomfret. The bawal sambal@hot sauce is a tad bit sweet but the "sambal belacan" is practically tasteless. Unless you dont have anywhere better to go and crave for rice based meals, there are other establishment serving better tasting n quality food.
But to be fair,2 stars rating is for the fast service and for not serving "bad" food.

β β β β β I love the food. Nice & delicious. Since you have high number of customer, why not you extend your restaurant so that more people can dine here & enjoy your delicious food. This place a bit crowded but SOP well followed. Just to let you know, you have to come early and have to be patient coz this place was popular and many family really love to eat here.

β β β β β Nice restaurant, nice order system and nice robot too ?
When i first arrived, saw long que of people in front of restaurant but i suggest you dont pay attention for this and just go inside the restaurant and find any empty table for your group.. because it can be order from the table using the qr code, just scan it and you can biew and select the menu and pay immediately.. after that the robot will deliver your order.. truly contactless...and the service was fast too despite crowded with people.. Bravo to the restaurant... Dont worry about parking coz it got so many parking spaces..
For the food price, its not that cheap but consider just nice for the type of menu.. the size of sotong was big as they claimed and kambing bakar was tasty except little bit too sweet but anyway its really good..
I will come here again and again.. really recommended for you guys to try it

β β β β β My first visit was at Kota Kemuning. This was my second visit at Sotong Besar. The cashier is very nice. Food was delivered to us using a robot. I bought Mee celup with daging because ayam was sold out (plus rm3). The Mee tasted a bit chalky la but ok. The Sotong is nice as ever. Air teh hijau also great.
