★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is legendary. From children to full grown up, i found there were not so much differences about this place. Every time im coming here, I feel like going back to the good old days. Thank god This kedai survived from the hipster tsunami. Which is good to me.
Lets talk about what to order. Once u get into kedai directly go to the bro who serve the nasi. It is standard here the nasi kuning come with sambal bilis and telur mata. Yes, eventhough u were not asking it. Then if u can add extra kick by selecting a variety of lauk there. From my observation, people love to eat nasi kuning with hati lembu/daging cincang. U should try this also.
Boiled Quill egg readily served on the table so u can put more fire power during your breakfast here. Opened every morning till 11. Have a good day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long queue. However, disappointed with the nasi kuning. It's cooked eith too much water and tasted like white rice not nasi lemak. The sambal is quite bland, suitable for kids who don't eat spicy at all. They prepared fresh fried egg. Only delicious thing was daging hitam (rm4), altho the piece I chose wasn't so tender. Not eating here again as there other much better options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not taste like nasi lemak. Rice was more on the white side. The sambal however was nice. Worth trying but somewhat overrated. Shouldn't call it nasi lemak but nasi kuning only.
